Black Pink has added another 2 billion views music video, solidifying its status as a `YouTube Queen".

According to YG Entertainment on the 31st, Black Pink's music video of 'Kill This Love exceeded 2 billion views on YouTube at 7:44 a.m. that day. This is the first milestone achieved in about five years and five months since its release on April 5, 2019.

As a result, Blackpink became the first K-pop artist to have two music videos with more than 2 billion views out of a total of 46 billion views. Their music video for another mega-hit song 'DDU-DU DDU-DU', which previously achieved the same number of views, has now exceeded 2.2 billion views.

The music video for "Kill This Love" drew explosive reactions from music fans around the world with its dynamic performance and sophisticated visual beauty. In particular, addictive choreography such as shooting a long gun was well received and it was the only K-pop song ranked in the top 10 music videos in the world in 2019.

The sound source also left a big mark on various global charts. Mainly dominated by intense lead brass and grand drum sounds, 'Kill This Love' topped the U.S. Billboard main charts, Hot 100 and Billboard 200, respectively, in the first week of its release, breaking the K-pop girl group's top ranking at the time.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's powerful impact on YouTube is still ongoing. Their official YouTube channel subscribers are more than 94.7 million, the highest number of male and female artists in the world, and their cumulative content has exceeded 36.7 billion views.
