Singer IU has made history as an unprecedented female musician in the music industry, selling out approximately 100,000 tickets in advance for her 2024 World Tour Encore Concert.

EDAM Entertainment announced on August 16 that IU will hold the "2024 IU HEREH WORLD TOUR CONCERT ENCORE: THE WINNING" at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on September 21 and 22. All tickets were sold out through pre-booking for the 7th official fan club 'UAENA' on August 12 and general reservations on August 14.

The encore concert, titled 'THE WINNING,' marks the final chapter of IU's world tour journey, which spanned 18 cities over five months. This performance will be the culmination of her tour, and excitement was palpable during the ticket reservation period.

On the day of pre-sale and the following day, searches for 'IU' on Google saw a 100% increase, while 'IU Concert' experienced a 400% rise in search volume. General reservations also led to a surge in search interest, peaking between 7:32 p.m. and 7:57 p.m.

The teaser video released on August 12 drew significant attention, featuring IU aiming at the sky with a 'Golden Bat' and scenes reminiscent of her music videos for 'Shopper' and 'Holssi,' from her 6th mini-album, 'The Winning.' This teaser heightened anticipation for the main performance, with IU’s surprising appearance at the end generating further excitement.

IU continues to make history as a leading female artist, drawing over 100,000 attendees for her two-day concert. To ensure smooth operations and audience management, extensive preparations are underway. This includes strict adherence to ground usage protocols and pre-training for staff on guidelines and procedures. Additionally, measures are being taken to protect the venue, such as installing a lawn protector to ensure proper ventilation.

With this concert, IU will become the first female artist to perform at both Korea's largest venues, Jamsil Main Stadium and Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Details about IU's encore concert can be found on Melon Ticket, the official reservation platform.
