Taeyeon and Sam Smith Collaborate on Korean-lyric Remix for 10th Anniversary Edition

Girls' Generation's Taeyeon is making waves with a special collaboration alongside British singer Sam Smith, who is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his debut.

Taeyeon has recorded a remixed version of Smith's hit song "I'm Not The Only One" for the deluxe edition of Smith's album, In The Lonely Hour: 10th Anniversary Edition. The new track was released at 6 p.m. on August 29th, attracting significant attention from music fans worldwide.

The collaboration came about when Sam Smith proposed the idea of a Korean-lyric version to Taeyeon as a way to show appreciation for the support from Korean fans. Smith expressed his gratitude, stating, "Thank you so much to Taeyeon for participating in this project and delivering such amazing vocals."

Taeyeon joins a distinguished list of international artists who have worked with Sam Smith to celebrate his milestone. Following collaborations with Japanese singer Utada Hikaru, Spanish artist Aitana, and Brazilian performer IZA, Taeyeon is proud to represent Korea in this special project.
