Yoon Seok-cheol trio (Yoon Seok-cheol, Jeong Sang-i, Kim Young-jin) will release a full-length album 'My Summer is Not Over' on various music sites at noon on the 28th. It is the first time in about two and a half years that Yoon Seok-cheol trio has released a new album since the release of EP 'Familiar and Constant' in February 2022.
The title song 'You and I were looking at the same thing' is a song that contains subtle imbalances arising from differences in consciousness, such as thoughts, gazes, short words, and trivial gestures between lovers. When you realize the subtlety over time, you already can't use your hands. Storytelling drawn by Yoon Seok-chul is unfolded freely over the rich jazz melody.
The music video, which will be released with the sound source, boasts a unique composition and direction that combines the live-action of the Yoon Seok-cheol trio, while depicting the dream of a couple in a 2D animation format. The music video also melted Yoon Seok-chul's trio's wit with the addition of a fixation technique, which was filmed by cutting off a frame of human movement and then connected.
In addition, the full-length album contains a tribute song to soccer player Son Heung-min 'Sonny Never Gets Blue' which expresses the city's never-weary night streets 'Samba de Seoul' which emphasizes that having no set routine is a routine'routine without a routine'routine'routine in a rainy room'routine'routine in deep thought'routine'routine'routine 'routine 'routine 'routine 'routine 'routine in childhood.
It will then feature a total of 10 jazz songs, including 'Shotshai', which expresses the addiction of shorts, 'Waltz of hypocrites', which deals with human relationships such as masquerades', 'Paper plane', which reflects my appearance on a paper plane destined to fall to the ground, and 'My summer is not over yet' that I will fill this summer with good memories.
'My summer is not over yet' is an album in which 10 themes centered on 'summer' such as challenge, love, passion, and memories are organically connected through jazz. Yoon Seok-cheol, who has always made bold attempts with a fresh sound that combines classical jazz and modern elements, produced all the songs to realize his own original music world. With its witty composition and light and comfortable melody, it has completed a jazz introduction book that anyone can enjoy comfortably.
