Onew, who celebrated the 15th anniversary of SHINee's debut last year, missed the activities of his 8th regular album 'Hard' due to poor condition. Since then, he has been focusing on treatment and rest, and has resumed his activities since April with the support of his fans. In response, Onyu "At first, the burden was great. Because so many people waited for me, I thought 'I have to go back quickly, what should I do?', but as I was not stressed by leaving it to the flow naturally, I quickly settled down.

He then said that he traveled a lot alone during the break. Onew went to Vienna, Austria, and lived for a month, came back to Korea, took care of his health, and then went back to Japan to climb Mount Fuji. After living in Japan for a month, and in the United States for about a month, I had a lot of time to think alone. It's my first time going around alone like this, and there are so many things I can't do (laughs). It's like paying for the guest house, and there were so many things I didn't know, so I had a fun experience while looking up every single one of them.
