SHINee’s Key Celebrates Birthday with Solo Comeback Album

SHINee’s Key shared his thoughts on making a solo comeback after a year.

On the 23rd, Key held a press conference at the Grand Ballroom of Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul, to celebrate the release of his third mini-album, 'Pleasure Shop'. "It’s going to be a day of celebration with my fans," he remarked.

Key’s return comes a year after his previous release,' Good & Great'. "I put in as much effort as I did for the last album," he said. "Being a singer is my main job, so when the album is ready, I have to be out there. I hope that those who support me will enjoy it."

The third mini-album features six tracks in the house genre, including the title track 'Pleasure Shop', as well as  'Overthink', 'Golden', 'I Know', 'Going Up', and 'Novacaine'.

What makes this album even more special is its release on Key’s birthday, which he described as a special gift for both himself and his global fans. "I initially planned for an album release around this time, but when I looked at the schedule, it lined up perfectly with my birthday," he explained. "The timing worked out well. It’s my first comeback on my birthday, and I think it’ll be a day to celebrate with my fans."

Key’s third mini-album, 'Pleasure Shop', will be available on various music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 23rd.
