 BTS Jin Starts Solo Advance, Killing Global Chart With 'I'll Be There'



BTS (BTS) Jin is drawing attention by dominating the global charts with new songs ahead of the official solo album release.

According to the latest Spotify chart released on the 26th, Jin's new song 'I'll Be There' ranked 9th on the day the song was released, recording more than 4.69 million streams. This broke the top spot for Spotify solo songs, beating the previous record of 17th on The Astronaut.

It is also receiving enthusiastic responses in Japan. The new song ranked No. 1 in Oricon 'Daily Digital Singles Rankings'. This is once again at the top of the Oricon chart, following the super tuna released on the 11th.



Jin's popularity continued on iTunes as well. 'I'll Be There' topped iTunes 'Top Song' chart in 70 countries and regions, including Japan, Brazil, and Australia. Major countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Canada also received attention as they ranked at the top. In addition, Jin's global popularity was demonstrated on the charts 'Worldwide iTunes Song' and 'European iTunes Song' for two consecutive days.

It is the pre-release song of Jin's first solo album Happy, which will be released on November 15. I'll Be There is a cheerful song based on the sound of Rockabilly, and it contains a message of sincerity to convey strength and comfort to listeners.
