Group aespa will release a surprise solo song on October 9th, which was first performed at their second concert.

The 'aespa Special Digital Single 'SYNK: PARALLEL LINE,' set to be released on various music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 9th, will feature four solo songs by each member, which were performed at their second concert.

Since the performances were released, the songs have gained popularity through word of mouth, with fans creating dance covers and participating in challenges on various short-form platforms. As a result, the official release of the music is expected to attract significant attention.

Karina's solo track, 'UP,' is a hip-hop dance song with an addictive chorus and minimalistic instrumental. The lyrics reflect her confident persona, captivating everyone. Giselle’s solo song, 'Dopamine,' which she co-wrote, is an R&B piece conveying complex emotions that downplay her true feelings to appear nonchalant about love.

Ning Ning’s solo, 'Bored!' is an R&B dance song with a unique topline and rhythmic track. Her lyrics express the feeling of love becoming dull and monotonous, even if it starts with great intensity. Winter’s solo, 'Spark,' which she composed and wrote, features a dreamy and nostalgic EDM sound, with lyrics metaphorically capturing the experience of falling in love, symbolized by a small ember.

Additionally, in anticipation of the release of their fifth mini-album, Whiplash, on October 21st, aespa revealed teaser images and videos of Winter and Giselle at midnight on the 7th. The teasers, shared through various social media accounts, showcased the members with more intense and bold visuals, raising excitement for the upcoming comeback.
