"What's up, we're 2NE1! Let's play!" The legendary girl group 2NE1 is back together for the first time in 10 years, making their return with a powerful "Comeback Home."
2NE1 held their '2024 2NE1 Concert in Seoul' at Olympic Park in Songpa, Seoul, from October 4th to the 6th, where they performed for around 12,000 fans across three days.
The concert was a long-awaited reunion for the group and their fans, marking 2NE1's first solo concert in about 10 years and 6 months since March 2014. It also celebrated the 15th anniversary of their debut, making this comeback even more meaningful for fans.
Ticket demand was fierce, with over 400,000 users flooding the system during the initial sales, resulting in all seats selling out quickly. The overwhelming interest confirmed the deep anticipation for 2NE1's return. Over the course of the three-day event, Olympic Hall was filled with dedicated fans.

The concert opened with performances of "Fire," "Clap," and "Can't Nobody," sparking cheers from the audience. CL greeted the crowd with her signature phrase, "What's up 2NE1!" and encouraged everyone to enjoy the show, even acknowledging those on the upper floors. Each member, including Minzy and Sandara Park, took turns expressing how much they had missed their fans, particularly their official fan club, Blackjack.
The group continued to raise the energy with hits like "Do You Love Me," "Falling in Love," and "I Don't Care." CL's solo performances of "MTBD" and "THE BADDEST FEMALE" turned the concert hall into a lively club, while 2NE1’s ballads such as "Missing You," "It Hurts," and "If I Were You" touched fans' hearts with their emotional depth. The electrifying live vocals and captivating stage presence reminded fans of why 2NE1 remains iconic.

In a moment filled with nostalgia, the concert featured a special video from '2NE1 TV,' reflecting on their journey from trainee days to superstardom. The crowd joined in a massive sing-along to hits like "Lonely," "Ugly," "Go Away," and the iconic "I'm the Best." The group’s music transcended time, bringing together fans from various generations for this musical celebration.
One of the concert's standout aspects was the fact that the members were deeply involved in the entire production process, from setlists and stage design to choreography and costumes. It showed their dedication to delivering the best possible experience to their long-waiting fans, fitting the theme "Welcome Back."
The interaction between 2NE1 and their fans was especially heartwarming, with the group making eye contact and sharing moments with the audience. A dance challenge during the concert, featuring songs like "Fire," "I Don't Care," and "Clap," provided even more opportunities for fans to connect with their idols.
The powerful band and dancers added to the richness of the live experience, supported by YG Entertainment’s signature production expertise, refined through numerous world tours. YG’s newest girl group, Baby Monster, also made a special appearance, paying tribute to their predecessors by performing at 2NE1’s first concert in a decade.

In addition to Baby Monster, a number of global K-pop stars sent video messages to celebrate 2NE1's return. This included well-known artists like IU, NewJeans, IVE, Twice, aespa, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, Kiss of Life, and BoyNextDoor, as well as YG family members G-Dragon and TREASURE.
Toward the end of the performance, 2NE1 delivered a medley of their iconic tracks, including "Crush," "I Don't Care," "Ugly," and "Go Away." A video showcasing their achievements left fans with lingering emotions as the concert came to a close. Fans responded with an emotional event, singing along to "Don't Stop the Music" and holding up signs that read "Let's play again next time," touching the hearts of the group members.

Before saying goodbye, 2NE1 hinted at the possibility of an encore concert. Sandara Park acknowledged the ticket shortage and said, "We need to have an encore concert. You can’t miss it." CL added, "Next time, we should perform in a bigger venue."
The members shared their deep feelings about reuniting after 10 years. Park Bom expressed how much she had missed the fans, while Minzy emotionally shared that performing together as a group again felt like a dream come true. Sandara Park tearfully recalled their early days at YG and expressed her gratitude to Baby Monster for participating in the event. CL reflected on how the group had come full circle, thanking fans for the "healing" experience and encouraging them to pursue their dreams, just as 2NE1 had reunited.
Following the Seoul concert, 2NE1 will embark on their 15th anniversary Asian tour, performing in nine cities including Manila, Jakarta, Kobe, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei, where they will continue reconnecting with their global fanbase.
