Stray Kids made a global boy band presence by appearing as a performer on the AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS 50TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL.

Stray Kids attended 'American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special' held in Los Angeles on the afternoon of October 6 (local time). The "American Music Awards" (hereinafter referred to as the "AMAs") are considered one of the top four popular music awards in the United States along with the Grammy Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, and the MTV Video Music Awards.

Stray Kids, the second performer in the K-pop group's history after BTS, held a special stage to celebrate the boy band's past 50 years. Each Era's Savory Boy Bands Following the VCR, which illuminates the moments in the New Edition, New Kids On The Block, Boys II Men, NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, One Direction, and BTS's 'AMAs, Stray Kids appeared on stage with the introduction of Lance Bass, a member of the American boy band N Sync, and A.J. McLean, a member of the Backstreet Boys.

They performed the 3rd entry song of the Billboard main chart 'Chk Chk Boom'(Chick Boom), the title song of the mini album 'ATE(Eight), which is the 5th consecutive No. 1 piece of Billboard's main chart 'Board 200' and another main chart 'Hot 100'. In particular, this stage added speciality as an arrangement version that can only be found in the 50th Anniversary Special of the American Music Awards, which inserted some sections of N-Sync's representative song 'Bye Bye Bye' (Bye Bye Bye).

After the end of the stage, N-Sync's official SNS channel posted a cross-edited video of the two groups' 'Bye Bye's stage and drew attention by mentioning Stray Kids, saying, `It's an honor to see the marionette moment of 'Bye Bye' that Stray Kids recreated in 'AMAs' tonight.'



Last year, Stray Kids, who showed their potential by winning the category of the Top K-Pop Albums' at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards' and the category of the Best K-Pop at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards', celebrated the 50th anniversary of another prestigious pop music award ceremony: Mariah Carey, Green Day, Brad Paisley, Chaka Khan and Sheila E, Gladys Knight, Kane Brown, He elevated his status as a `global top artist' by matching with leading artists such as Nile Rodgers and CHIC.

Recently, Stray Kids re-demonstrated its immense popularity in the U.S., with its mini album 'ATE', released on July 19, being listed as the most sold K-pop album in the U.S. in 2024 (based on September 30th, local time).



The new world tour 'Stray Kids World Tour ' (Dominate), which boasts the largest scale of the group itself, departed from KSPO DOME in Seoul from August 24 to 25 and from 31 to September 1 and completed the Singapore National Stadium concert 'K-pop 4th Generation Group First' on September 28. On October 19th, he will hold a solo performance at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, followed by fans in Sydney on the 26th, Kaohsiung, Taiwan on November 2nd, Tokyo on November 14th and 16th to 17th, Manila, Philippines on November 23rd, Macau on December 29th to 30th, Osaka, Japan on December 5th and 7th to 8th, Bangkok, Thailand on December 14th, Jakarta, Indonesia on January 21st, and Hong Kong on January 18th to 19th, 2025.
