BTS V X Park Hyo-shin 'Winter Ahead' enters Billboard HOT100 for the first time in K-pop jazz duet song

BTS V's first winter gift 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' is receiving hot love from all over the world.

According to the latest chart released by the U.S. music media Billboard on the 10th (December 14), the digital single 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' with V and Park Hyo-shin has newly entered the Billboard main song chart 'Hot 100'99. This is the first time a jazz duet by a K-pop singer has entered the chart.

V now has five solo songs that have entered 'Hot 100'. Two of them are songs released this year. V ranked 65th with his digital single 'FRI(END)S' which was released in March, including 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)'.

'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' topped the year-end special charts 'Holiday Digital Song Sales' and 'Holiday Top 100' respectively. It was also ranked 14th in 'Global (excluding the United States)' and 33rd in 'Global 200'. It came out on top in `Digital Song Sales.' It is all the more meaningful because it is an achievement made at the end of the year when the new song is difficult to attract attention as the authentic carol occupies the chart.

The success of BTS members did not stop there. Jimin's 'Who' is ranked 47th on Billboard 'Hot 100', and his second solo album 'MUSE' is ranked 114th on the main album chart 'Board 200', making it into the top spot for 20 consecutive weeks. This makes Jimin the longest-serving K-pop soloist on the 'Hot 100' chart in the last 10 years. Jimin's performance this week is more significant in that it is up from last week. 'Who' rose nine places compared to last week and 'MUSE' rose 43 places.

'Who' is also popular on the detailed charts. The song is listed on 'Global (excluding the United States)'(23rd), 'Global 200'(24th), 'Streaming Song'(35th), 'Digital Song Sales'(13th). 'MUSE' was ranked 5th on 'World Album'.

Jin's first solo album 'Happy' is also still strong. The album charted for three consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200" (160th place), followed by the 37th place on 'Top Album Sales" and the 7th place on 'World Album". The title song 'Running Wild' was ranked at #29 of 'Global (excluding the United States)' and #52 of 'Global 200'. Pre-released songs 'I'll Be There' ranked 167th for 'Global (excluding the United States)' and 'Until I Reach You' ranked 6th for 'World Digital Song Sales'.

Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' was ranked at #80 and 'Global 200'148. The song has been in the rankings for 73 weeks on each chart, proving Jungkook's powerful global presence.
