Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 from Bangkok, Thailand crashed at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province on the 29th, colliding with the outer wall and exploding. Of the 181 passengers, 179 were killed and two were injured. The government designated seven days from the 29th, the day of the accident, to January 4th next year as the national mourning period.
