The trainees who will lead SM for the next 30 years have been revealed.

SMTR25 (2025 SM Rookies) appeared at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 12th with 'SM Town Live 2025 in Seoul (hereinafter 'SM Town').

The concert was held to mark the 30th anniversary of SM's foundation, and it compiled the musical heritage that SM, which created the current global K-pop cornerstone, has built up over 30 years. In particular, artists from SM as well as artists from SM-affiliated labels appeared, raising expectations.

In particular, 25 trainees revealed their faces for the first time, making K-pop fans' eyes wide open. First, in the opening, TVXQ hero Jae-woong, NCT Tae-yong, and Rise Sung-chan boasted a visual that was as good as `SM', and they were impressed with their perfect synchronized dance.

At the opening, they decorated the SHINee hit song 'Lucifer' with the 9-member SMTR25 and the 11-member SMTR25 with the EXO hit 'Growl'. At the end of the performance, they performed songs and performances that examined the history of SM boy groups, including EXO 'Overs', Super Junior 'Twins', TVXQ 'The Way You Are', SHINee 'Sherlock'.

They are also expected to continue SM's boy group lineage, including H.O.T., Shinhwa, Fly to Sky, TVXQ, Super Junior, SHINee, EXO, NCT, and Rise.
