SM Entertainment's (hereinafter referred to as SM) new girl group has been unveiled.

SM unveiled its new girl group VCR at the SM 30th anniversary concert 'SM Town Live 2025 in Seoul' (hereinafter referred to as SM Town) held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro, Seoul on the 12th.

The VCR, which was released at the end of the concert, drew attention as it showed a new girl group newly introduced by SM. After the visual feast of the young girls, their team names and debut information were also known.

The team name of SM's new girl group, which consists of eight members, is Hatsu-Hatsu. He will officially debut in February and launch his official debut in the music industry. It is SM's first girl group since debuting in December 2020, and SM is releasing a new girl group in about four years and two months.

Harts-to-Harts is a member of Prism Productions within SM. Currently, Prism Productions employees, including Choi Jin and Kim Wook, are striving for Hatsu-Hatsu's successful debut. Rumor has it that the Jeju location was recently carried out to shoot the video released at SM Town on this day.

As SM and Prism Productions have worked hard to consolidate their long-established know-how, attention is focusing on whether Hartsu Hearts will be able to become the "top girl group" that connects the lineage of the "SM girl group" such as S.E.S., Girls' Generation, f(x), Red Velvet, Espa, and Got the Beat.

Earlier, SM co-CEO Jang Chul-hyuk also mentioned a new girl group when announcing SM's third-quarter performance in November last year. At the time, CEO Jang said, `We will build a more solid lineup of artists through the debut of a new girl group next year,' and added, `We plan to present various projects such as performances, albums, and MD (goods products) for many fans who have loved SM on the occasion of its 30th anniversary.'
