Singer Song Dae-gwan died on the 7th. According to Song Dae-gwan, the deceased visited the emergency room of Seoul National University Hospital on the 6th due to poor condition, and died of a heart attack at 10 a.m. on the 7th while receiving treatment. It is reported that there was no underlying disease or chronic disease.
Song Dae-gwan, who was born in 1946, is the grandson of Song Young-geun, a Korean independence fighter, and debuted in 1967 with 'A compassionate old man'. After living in obscurity, his heyday began with the hit of 'Sunset Day' in 1975. Since then, he has released numerous hit songs such as 'because of the affection','Chapyo Hanjang'Four beats'Ingigaga' along with Hyun-cheol, Tae Jin-ah, and Seol Un-do, reigning as the four greatest kings of trot.
Song Dae-gwan was a singer who overcame his difficult personal history and sang hope. In 2013, he was accused of fraud for his wife's failure to invest in real estate, and all his assets worth 50 billion won, including his house, were handed over to the bank. In order to pay off the debt, Song Dae-gwan went through a personal rehabilitation procedure and carried out the event while living in monthly rent, and was eventually acquitted in 2015. He had undergone stomach surgery in 2019 and had been battling biliary tract cancer, but his health had recently improved after being diagnosed with complete recovery.
Nevertheless, Song Dae-gwan jumped back with passion for the stage. After releasing his full-length album 'Wallet Brother' in November last year, he appeared on KBS1 'Song Stage' in December last year. On the 19th of last month, he appeared on KBS1 'National Song Bragging' and was also scheduled to appear on 'Song Stage' next week. However, he recently expressed his intention to postpone his appearance to the writer 'Gayo Stage' because he was not feeling well.

The mortuary of the deceased was set up in Room 1 of the funeral hall of Seoul National University Hospital. The chief mourners are his wife, Lee Jung-sim, and sons, Song Jin-hyung and Song Jin-seok. The stamping will be strictly observed at 11 a.m. on the 9th, and the burial site will be designated as Seoul Memorial Park.
