At the showcase of the fourth mini-album 'Hot Mesh' held at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin, Seoul on the 10th, Even wrote the new song 'Hot Mesh', and said, `I tried to make it fun with words that I don't usually use.'
It is the first time in about eight months that Even will make a comeback in the music industry since his third mini album 'Ride Oldie' released in June last year. Park Han-bin is making his comeback in eight months. I'm looking forward to the moment when I meet my fans for the first time in a long time. We've worked really hard on it, so please look forward to new things."
EVEN, who has tried various musical transformations since its debut in September 2023, will challenge the pop rock genre this time and present a different music color. Shin Bo-myung and the title song of the same name are a pop rock genre that combines kitsch vox loops and crunchy guitars, depicting easy-to-singing singalongs and lively energy of even. When I feel unrealistic and confused emotions, I interestingly expressed the meaning of falling into the moment rather than finding an answer.
The performance is also full of wit with a free and relaxed atmosphere that enjoys the stage to the fullest. Lee Jung-hyun said "Chorus choreography is generally performed in a set motion, but this time it was taken in a free movement. I wanted to give you freewheeling, positive energy, and Park Ji-hoo explained "I was trying to show our excitement that was not standardized, mixed up."
Even, who has been participating in writing and composing, showed his musical capabilities again this time. The title song 'Hot Mesh' was co-written by Yoo Seung-eon and Park Ji-hoo, and Ji Yoon-seo participated in writing lyrics for 'Love Like That', adding to the album's completeness. Yoo Seung-eon wrote "It was a grateful opportunity to capture even's own personality with lyrics. I fell in love with it because it seemed to be a free atmosphere. I thought direct and witty lyrics would suit me rather than beautifully decorated lyrics, and Park Ji-hoo said "I tried to make it fun with words that I don't usually use."
Even will release its fourth mini-album 'Hot Mesh' through various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 10th.
