The group Newzins has faced difficulties since their first activity as an NJZ.

On the 19th, five music organizations, including the Korea Management Association, the Korea Entertainment Producers Association, the Korea Music Label Industry Association, the Korea Music Industry Association, and the Korea Music Content Association, issued a policy support appeal to eradicate tampering. The organizations urged the government and the National Assembly to come up with a bill to prevent tampering, saying that the K-pop industry is fatally wounded as the actions of Min Hee-jin, former CEO of Door, and New Jeans spread like a trend.

A lengthy rebuttal was uploaded to the accounts run by the members' parents. The members countered that Hive and the organizations were playing the wrong press, and the exclusive contract was terminated because Hive treated Newzins unfairly.

In particular, he claimed that `I heard from a ComplexCon official who is helping prepare for the performance that Chairman Hive Bang Si-hyuk personally called the US officials and urged the NJZ members to fail.'

In addition, "Adore asked the organizers to use the official team name of the Newzins as requested by the domestic media and to proceed with the performance through Adore based on an exclusive contract.", he explained.

Newzins says its exclusive contract with Adore has been terminated since November last year. He also declared that 'NJZ' is their new team name. Accordingly, Adore filed a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract and filed an injunction for prohibition, such as preserving the status of an agency and advertising contracts. The official team name is Newzins, not NJZ, and the exclusive contract is valid. The first hearing on the application for provisional injunction will begin in March and the lawsuit on exclusive contracts will begin in April. If the court ruled in favor of Hive in the lawsuit, Newzins' independent activities would be impossible.
