SM Entertainment (hereinafter SM) successfully completed the first orchestra concert of the classic & jazz label SM Classics, shining its 30th anniversary.
The SM CLASSICS LIVE 2025 with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra was held for two days at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall on February 14 and Lotte Concert Hall on February 15, and SM hit songs were enjoyed by music fans even before the event as they could be appreciated with high-quality performances by Asia's top orchestra 'Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra (Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra)' which marked the 20th and 80th anniversary of its foundation.
In particular, this concert has a special meaning in that it is an opportunity to reflect on the music journey of SM Classics, which has consistently arranged SM's representative songs into an orchestra version since its launch in 2020, and it is the world's first K-pop orchestra concert held at the center of Korean classical music to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Following SHINee Minho's opening narration, this performance, which opened the door to the classical world with "Welcome To SMCU Palace", gave the audience a different experience and a deep lingering feeling, with songs by SM artists such as BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, Espa, and Rachmaninoff, as well as works by classical masters such as Vivaldi, Bach, Beethoven, Elgar, and Rachmaninoff, through grand performances of the 83-member large-scale orchestra.

In addition, the performance on the 14th captured the eyes and ears by adding a media art direction that doubled the immersion of the song, and Red Velvet Wendy took the stage as a collaborator on the 15th and sang solo songs 'Like Water', 'When This Rain Stops' to 'Vermillion' with conductor Kim Yu-won and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, painting the venue with deep emotion.
This performance, which marked the finale of the 30th anniversary concert with SM's symbol song 'Hope', which sampled Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 'Choral', was a monumental moment to show the endless challenges of SM, which is 'sincere to music', and to confirm its confidence in SM's music, which continues to be loved by many people, like classical music.

SM Classics plans to introduce the performance and score IP licensing business in earnest and spread SM Classics' original IP around the world.
