The 'K League Life Sharing Campaign' is a representative social contribution activity of the K League that the Federation has been conducting since 2016, with the National Organ Organization Blood Management Institute of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korean Organ Organization Donator Institute. The purpose is to spread positive perceptions of organ and tissue donation in our society through soccer and to establish a life-sharing culture.
The training was conducted on the subject of the need for life sharing and organ and tissue donation under the leadership of special instructor Kim Joo-won. After the end of the training, Song Seung-min, Kang Min-kyu, and Dojin Jung participated in the campaign, in addition to players who personally pledged organ donation, such as head coach Kim Hyun-seok and captain Park Se-jik.
Kang Min-kyu of Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, said "It was a useful time to know in detail what I didn't usually know. Also, it is an honor to participate in meaningful sharing. If there is anything that can have a good impact on society not only inside the playground but also outside in the future, I will do my best to participate."
Meanwhile, Chungnam Asan will play the 20th round of Hana Bank K League 2 2024 against Seoul E-Land FC at Yi Sun-shin Stadium on July 1. South Chungcheong Asan currently ranks fourth (7 wins, 6 draws and 5 losses, 27 points) in the league.
