Chelsea, an English Premier League (EPL) emerging star known for recruiting a large number of promising young guns, has recruited midfielder Omari Kellyman (19), born in 2005.

Chelsea announced on its official website on the 29th (Korea time) that it signed a six-year contract (a one-year option) with Keliman and will begin pre-season with coach Enzo Maresca's teammates from next month.

Keliman, who is from England and is from Derby County and Aston Villa Youth, signed with the Villa professional team in the 2023-2024 season and made his Premier League debut through the match against Manchester City in April. Chelsea have spent a whopping £19 million on Kelly's potential, which is also the current England 19-year-old representative.

Keliman is pleased to be here as a Chelsea player through the club. It's an honor to join a great club with a huge history. My dream came true. I want to play in the Chelsea uniform as soon as possible."

Chelsea are also close to signing Argentine center back Aaron Anselmino, who was born in 2005, just like Keliman. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said on the 29th that negotiations between Chelsea and Boca Juniors are nearing the end and he is planning to sign a six-year contract. Boca Juniors added that they are in talks with Chelsea over how to keep them in the team for another six months after the transfer.

Chelsea's recent move to recruit the 2005-born duo, who are not even 20 years old, is no surprise.

In the last one or two years, Chelsea have spent a lot of money recruiting Leslie Ugochuku (born 2004), Romeo Rabia (born 2004), David Wasingpon (born 2005), Diego Moreira (born 2004), Angello Gabriel (born 2004), Cesare Casadei (born 2003), and Andrei Santos (born 2004).

Most of the players in their 20s and around gained practical experience on loan in their hometown teams, France, the Netherlands, and England shortly after signing a long-term contract with Chelsea. In the case of Brazilian midfielder Andrei Santos, he played on loan for three teams, Vasco da Gama, Nottingham Forest and Strasbourg, after wearing a Chelsea uniform last year.

Casadei, an Italian youth representative, scored two goals in 22 games for Leicester City in the first half of the 2023-2024 season before returning to Chelsea in January to play 11 EPL games.

Chelsea invested as little as 13 million pounds (Angelo Gabriel) and as much as 53 million pounds (Ravia). In other words, he has invested in the future rather than the present that he can play in the Chelsea first team right now.

Korean soccer fans speculate that Yang Min-hyuk (Gangwon, born in 2006), a special K-League high school player, received a love call from Chelsea, combining Kim Byung-ji, CEO of Gangwon, and others on YouTube. CEO Kim said "It's a big six club,"West Ham is a good club, but it's not a prestigious club,"I like Manchester United, but Yang Min-hyuk is...", Man City, Tottenham were interested", "Liverpool is our second (son) favorite team" left a hint of twenty questions. Chelsea is one of the teams that has the financial capacity to pay 4 million euros set by CEO Kim as Yang Min-hyuk's ransom Maginot Line.
