The entire team reacted to the ace's fiery pitching. Jeon High School broke through the second round of the blue dragon flag with Jung Woo-ju, considered the biggest fish of the year.

In the second round of the 79th Cheongryonggi National High School Baseball Championship and the weekend league King Wangjung match (co-hosted by the Chosun Ilbo, Sports Chosun, and the Korea Baseball Softball Association) held at Shinwol Baseball Stadium on the 7th, Jeon High School won a tough 9-3 victory after a three-hour and 43-minute battle with Chungam High School.

A real match was held between the two teams, Jeon High School's Jung Woo-ju and Chungam High School's Park Gun-woo. But there can't be two winners. One side has no choice but to laugh and the other has no choice but to cry.

Lee Ho-min for Jeon High School and Hwang Hee-cheon for Chungam High School, but the time between the two players was not long.

Chungam High School, which seemed to self-destruct by pouring out as many as five errors during the first to third innings. He was defeated when his hindsight, which almost overcame the ordeal, was blocked.

Jeon lost his first chance at the top of the first inning due to an opponent's error.

I didn't miss the second one. With a hit by leadoff hitter Seo Young-joon and a walk by Sung Min-soo, Chungam High School Hwang Hee-cheon's error, the bases loaded with no outs. He scored the first run with a double play. Yoon Do-yeon, who tried to play home steal with two outs and third base, was intimidated, but Chungam High School catcher missed the ball and scored the second point.

In the top of the third inning, when Hwang Hee-cheon's error came out during a sacrifice bunt with no outs and no outs, Chungam High School took the mound with ace Park Gun-woo on the first and second bases. However, during the sacrifice bunt of the next batter Um Jun-hyun, Park Gun-woo's bad pitch to the third base came out again, and the third baseman homered when Seo Young-joon grounded out to shortstop in a chance with one out and second and third bases that continued 3-0.

Still, Park Kun-woo finished the third inning without additional mass loss. And Chungam's counterattack began.

In the bottom of the third inning, Chungam combined Kim Min-joon, Heo Yoon's hit, high school pitcher Lee Ho-min's wild pitch and walk to get a full base chance with no outs. The chance seemed to be eliminated by infield ground balls and strikeouts, but Chungam followed two runs as a wild pitch came out following a walk. Subsequently, when the bases were loaded with two outs with a walk, ace Jung Woo-joo was forced to take the mound. Jung Woo-joo, who has not fully warmed up, allowed a one-run chase with a walk, but did not give up the tie.

It was followed by a fiery pitching match between Jung Woo-joo and Park Gun-woo.

Jung Woo-joo then played five innings until two outs in the seventh inning, giving up five hits and four outs, but he held on without losing a point by breaking the opponent's flow with strikeouts (6). There was also the help of defense. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Um Jun-hyun caught a grounder to shortstop with runners on the second and third bases with one out, throwing it home, catching a runner on the third base, and catcher Lee Han-rim threw it back to the third base to make a double-out.

According to the restrictions on the number of pitches, all pitchers cannot exceed 105 pitches.

Jung Woo-joo caused a crisis on the first and second bases with no outs in the bottom of the eighth inning with a hit ball. However, he struck out consecutively and did not die as much as he could. In particular, Chungam High School's No. 1 hitter Heo Yoon struck out with a large angle curve in the 104th pitch, making the first and second bases with two outs and then going down the mound.

The bench welcomed the returning ace warmly. And the changed pitcher Kim Young-bin prevented the crisis by dealing with the ground ball only when the next batter was taken care of.

Chungam High School, which missed two decisive chances, eventually knelt down when Park Gun-woo collapsed in the top of the ninth inning.

Jeon High School made it 5-3 with Um Jun-hyun hitting an RBI double on the third base line with one out and runners on the first and second bases. And against the changed pitcher Lee Jin-joong, Lee Han-rim's two-run double, Sung Min-soo's hit, and second baseman's error poured in, producing five runs and a big inning in one inning. Kim Young-bin neatly blocked the ninth inning and finished the game.

After the game, former high school coach Joo Chang-hoon said, "(Jung) Woo-ju threw well, and (Lee) Ho-min also did well. He lacked a sense of practice, but he was able to win because he scored using his opponent's mistake early in the game. The two pitchers won because they did their part. I'm so proud."
