Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees hit his 31st home run of the season, ending June splendidly.

In an away game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Center on the 1st (Korea time), Judge hit hard with two hits, two RBIs and one run from four times at bat, including a home run.

The Yankees won 8-1 on the day with Judge's hard hit and Juan Soto's performance of one hit, one RBI and two walks in three at-bats after returning from a day off.

Judge has increased his batting average to 0.316 (95 hits in 301 at-bats) in the last three consecutive games. He trailed Los Angeles Angels Luis Renjipo (0.317), the top AL player in this category, by one stroke. If he wins the batting average, he will be in the position of AL batting triple crown.

Judge maintained the lead in the integration of both leagues in six categories: home run, RBI (82), slugging percentage (0.708), OPS (1.144), slugging (55), and Ruta (213).

Judge, who continued his peak hitting sense in the game held on the last day of June local time, is likely to be the AL player of the month in June following May. He hit .409 (36 hits in 88 at-bats), 11 homers, 37 RBIs, 36 runs, 0.514 on-base percentage, 0.864 slugging percentage, and 1.378 OPS in 25 games.

Judge hit a home run in his first at-bat. After one out in the top of the first inning, Soto opened with a right-handed hit. Judge then hit Toronto starter Kevin Gausman's 94-mile fastball into the middle of the second pitch on a one-ball and connected it with a two-run shot over the fence in the middle.

The 31st arch of the season, with a launch angle of 36 degrees, a batting speed of 109.8 miles and a distance of 423 feet. It is the first time in four days that Judge hit a home run since the game against the New York Mets on the 27th. Ohtani can hit 59 home runs arithmetically if he applies the current pace to 162 games.

The Yankees, who took a 2-0 lead with Judge's first home run, added two runs in the second inning with DJ LeMayhew's timely hit and Juan Soto's pushing walk to widen the gap to 4-0. Judge entered the batter's box for the second time with a bases-loaded chance with one out after Soto's pushout walk in the second inning, but was tricked by Gausman's splitter and struck out swinging.

Judge got on base with a hit ball in the third at-bat with two outs and a runner on the first base in the fourth inning, but he couldn't advance further due to the failure of a follow-up hit. The Yankees widened the gap to 7-1 in the top of the fifth inning by adding three runs with LeMayhew's double and Trent Grisham's double with one out and runners on first and second bases.

Judge, who struck out swinging in the top of the sixth inning, hit a heavy hit in the eighth inning and achieved multi-hit.

Yankees starter Gerrit Cole stabilized with three hits and one run in five innings, winning his first win in his third appearance of the season. He was sluggish with seven hits and six runs, including four homers, in four innings against the New York Mets on the 26th.

Toronto starter Kevin Gausman lost four ⅓ innings with seven hits, five walks and seven runs. 6-7 with a 4.75 ERA in the season.

The Yankees, who finished the four consecutive away games in Toronto with 2 wins and 2 losses, marked 54 wins and 32 losses, eliminated the AL East's leading Baltimore Orioles (53 wins and 31 losses), and maintained their second place, three miles behind the winning rate. Baltimore lost to the Texas Rangers 2-11 on the same day.
