43 members of the Paris Olympic team leave for Paris

The badminton national team, including world No. 1 Ahn Se-young (22, Samsung Life Insurance), the shooting national team with women's rifle 3 positions Lee Eun-seo (30, Seosan City Hall), and the boxing national team Lim Ae-ji (25, Hwasun County Office) and Oh Yeon-ji (33, Ulsan City Sports Council) left Incheon International Airport on the 12th as the starting team for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
There are a total of 43 players, including 19 badminton (12 athletes, 7 executives), 5 boxing (2 athletes, 3 executives), and 19 shooting (16 athletes, 10 executives).
The KOC said "The athletes of the first event left the country first on July 27."
Lee Ki-heung, chairman of the Sports Council, said to the advance team at Jincheon National Training Center in Chungcheongbuk-do Province, `We hope that you will show your best performance in the region and deliver pride to the people. In this competition, the badminton team is expecting gold medals from Ahn Se-young in the women's singles, Baek Ha-na (MG Saemaeul Geumgo) and Lee So-hee (Incheon International Airport), Kim So-young (Incheon International Airport) and Gong Hee-yong (Jeonbuk Bank), while the shooting team has set a goal of winning one gold, two silver, and three bronze medals. In shooting, Yang Ji-in (Korea Sports University), Kim Ye-ji (Imsil County Office), Song Jong-ho (IBK Industrial Bank), Lee Eun-seo (Seosan City Hall), and Ban Hyo-jin (Daegu High School), a women's 10-meter air rifle, are considered medal contenders. The yacht will depart on the 13th and the swimming management, archery and cycling teams will depart on the 16th. The main team of the South Korean national team, including fencing and table tennis, will leave for Paris, France on the 20th.
The total number of South Korean athletes in the Paris Olympics is 262 (144 athletes and 118 executives) in 22 sports.
Before joining the Paris Olympic Village, South Korean athletes will train for local adaptation at the pre-training campground 'Team Korea Paris Platform', which was set up by the Korean Olympic Committee for the first time in 12 years since the 2012 London Olympics.
