The fifth round of the '2024 One Super Race Championship', which will be held at Everland Speedway in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do on the 13th, is the second race of the 'Summer Season', which starts in June and runs three times in a row from July to August, and will be held as a night race to avoid the heat of the day.
In addition to the top super 6000 class, you can enjoy all seven races in a day, including GT/GT4 class, Prius PHEV class, Alpin class, Rubex M, and Radical Cup Korea.
Since it is a race with lights on, of course, there are many variables. This is all the more so because rain is forecast for the rainy season. From the fourth round, which announced the start of the summer season, the results reversed expectations. In Super 6000, Jang Hyun-jin won two consecutive rounds by choosing a different driver and a different dry tire even though he carried a handicap weight of 100kg, and in the GT class, Jung Won-won stood at the highest position in two games after his return.
This fifth round is the turning point of this season. This round will be held in a layout of 'Speedway Night Course'. The layout, which debuted last year, changed the existing speedway circuit to make it 2.538km long and 11 corners. This is also expected to be a significant variable in the competition as the speed decreases but cornering increases.
In addition, in line with the night race concept, 'Davich' and 'Kidmill' will perform through gridwalk time, and 'Hyuna' and 'Bio' will perform after the Super 6000 class ends. In addition, Ducati Korea Ambassador broadcaster Dex, influencer Ryu Seok, and famous rider Kim In-wook will give visitors another fun through bike driving.
Tickets can be pre-booked through Naver reservation, and gold tickets that can participate in the gridwalk are on sale for a limited time. Last year's night race in Yongin drew 29,784 spectators a day alone.
