NC beat KIA 7-4 at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju on the 25th. The batters took the lead early in the first inning by making a six-run big inning taking advantage of KIA starter Kim Do-hyun's difficulties, and starter Kyle Hart helped by pitching a quality start (more than six innings, less than three earned runs) with two runs in six innings. NC, which was caught by KIA on the 23rd and 24th, avoided the sweep by winning the last game of three consecutive games during the week. It also broke its eight-game losing streak against KIA, which has been going on since Changwon's home game on May 17. 46 wins, 2 draws, and 46 losses in season history. KIA, which had recently won eight consecutive games, seemed to save the chase with Kim Do-young's two-run shot in the bottom of the fifth inning while Kim Do-hyun collapsed early, but bowed his head as he no longer gained additional points. KIA's season record was 59 wins, 2 draws and 36 losses.
NC took the lead early in the top of the first inning.

KIA fielders' concentration has also decreased due to prolonged defense time. Third baseman Kim Do-young threw Seo Ho-chul's ground ball home from the first and third bases with no outs. A rundown situation was created, but catcher Kim Tae-gun's throw was not taken out of his glove at once by Kim Do-young, and in the meantime, the third baseman homered and NC made it 5-0. NC added one more point when Kim Hyung-joon grounded out with one out and runners on the second and third bases to run to 6-0. KIA eventually decided to operate the bullpen early when Kim Do-hyun faced a crisis with one out and runners on first and second bases again with a walk in the top of the second inning.

However, NC scored a wedge in the top of the sixth inning. After one out against KIA Lee Joon-young, who took the mound following Lim Ki-young, Do Tae-hoon hit right field and Park Gun-woo walked to get on base. Jang Hyun-sik took the mound in relief, but Davison walked and took a bases-loaded chance, and Do Tae-hoon homered when Kwon Hee-dong's sacrifice fly to center field to make it 7-2.
KIA failed to take advantage of the chance due to Kim Do-young's shortstop double play and Na Sung-bum's fly ball in the bottom of the seventh inning with no outs and runners on the first and second bases. However, after one out in the bottom of the eighth inning, Choi Won-joon's double against NC Kim Young-kyu, Byun Woo-hyuk's timely hit to the left. With the bases loaded with one out made by Kim Tae-gun and Park Chan-ho's consecutive hits, Socrates hit a sacrifice fly to right field to chase 7-4. However, with two outs and runners on the first and third bases, Lee Chang-jin failed to close the gap any further.
NC was on the verge of tying the first and second bases with no outs as closer Lee Yong-chan, who took the mound in the bottom of the ninth inning, gave up a left-handed hit to Kim Do-young and a walk to Na Sung-beom. However, he struck out Kim Sun-bin and Choi Won-joon, followed by pinch hitter Choi Hyung-woo, who held a three-point lead to finish the game with a victory.
