San Diego Padres Kim Ha-sung was silent with no hits for two consecutive games.

Kim Ha-sung started as the eighth shortstop in the home game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Petco Park on the 6th (Korea time) and recorded no hits in 4 at-bats. However, San Diego came from behind to win 10-8 thanks to Manny Machado's walk-off home run in the ninth inning.

Kim Ha-sung, who marked an 0-for-3 RBI against the Texas Rangers the previous day, lowered his head to 0-for-7 in two games, dropping his batting average to 0.222 and OPS to 0.702. In particular, Kim Ha-sung failed to make a hit in seven consecutive at-bats until the day after he hit a home run to the left in his first at-bat in the second inning against Texas the previous day, but was caught by the jump catch of the opponent's left fielder Wyatt Langford.

Arizona scored two runs in the top of the first inning with Corbin Carroll's double and Jak Pederson's two-run homer to center. However, San Diego recovered one point in the bottom of the second inning when Jackson Merrill grounded out to shortstop with one out and a runner on the third base, Machado homered.

Kim Ha-sung entered the batter's box for the first time in the bottom of the third inning, trailing 1-2. Kim Ha-sung, who was the leadoff hitter, hit a fastball in the middle of Arizona starter Slade Seconi's first pitch of 92.5 miles, but he was out when he floated high in front of left field.

San Diego turned the tables in the bottom of the fourth inning with nine hitters and six hits, scoring four runs. However, in the process of the big inning, Kim Ha-sung struck out and left a regret. Following leader Jake Cronenworth's infield hit and Machado's heavy hit, Donovan Solano hit a deep fly to center field to connect the chance to the second and third bases with one out.

Merrill then hit a triple that fell on the right-wing line, bringing both home and turning it around 3-2. David Peralta then added a point by hitting a double to the right. Kim Ha-sung entered the batter's box with one out and second base and struck out swinging on Sekoni's high 95-mile fastball on the fourth pitch in the ball count 1B2S. However, San Diego widened the gap to 5-2 when Kyle Higashioka, the next batter, hit a left-handed hit.

Kim Ha-sung failed to hit again in the sixth inning with no outs and no outs. He pulled the 92.5-mile sinker of his opponent's left-hander Joe Jacks, but only made a fly to left field. San Diego's next batter, Higashioka, hit a two-run home run to the left and went on a 7-2 run. Kim Ha-sung hit a pitcher fly as the leadoff hitter in the eighth inning and failed to add a hit in the end.

The real game was played in the ninth inning.

San Diego handed over the mound to Suarez in the top of the ninth inning when Eniel de Los Santos created a one-out full base crisis in the final defense. However, Suarez was gradually chased by first batter Alec Thomas with a grand slam, then gave up a double to Corbin Carroll after two outs and allowed Randall Grichik a two-run shot to the left, turning the tide 7-8.

However, in the bottom of the ninth inning of the San Diego Padres, leadoff Jurickson Profar hit a solo home run in right-center and brought the game back to square one 8-8. Machado, who entered the batter's box after Cronenworth's walk, then pulled the opponent's right-hander Paul Sewald's body and fired a two-run shot that crossed the left fence to complete a dramatic victory.
