Captain Son Heung-min's influence even changed the mind of Tottenham freshmen.

England's Spurs Web reported on the 30th (Korea time) 'Archie Gray admitted that one Tottenham player made him feel truly welcome'

Tottenham have a new team of young prospects named Lucas Beribal and Archie Gray this summer. In addition, several players are listed as candidates for Tottenham's recruitment, and more players are likely to join Tottenham within this summer.

When new players join, the most important thing is to adapt to Tottenham. It is not easy for players who have lived on different teams to melt into Tottenham at once. But Tottenham had a player who made that possible. Freshman Gray has already experienced his influence.

Spursweb says 'Gray has joined Tottenham and has been doing well with his new teammates since the transfer. He revealed himself that he is adapting well to the new environment and praised his teammates for their efforts to welcome him. Gray also directly mentioned the captain's efforts, saying, 'He did his best to make Son feel welcome, especially.'

Gray is helping me on and off the field. He said, "He helps me even in the smallest things, like making me feel really welcome, helping me talk to everyone, and helping me get into the group."

"He sets the standard in training every day, and I think I'm lucky to have such a respectable player on the team. No matter how much I praise him, everyone knows his quality in the stadium. He showed it for 10 years, and it was amazing. I usually don't like it because it feels weird to praise a player on the same team like this. However, he is really amazing,' Son said, adding that he is so great that he is exceptionally reluctant to praise his teammates.

Captain Son Heung-min has taken care of his Tottenham teammates since he was not the captain. Gray is not the first freshman to help Son Heung-min adapt to the team. Mickey Panderpen, who joined last summer, and Pape Sard, who joined in 2022, were also able to adapt to Tottenham stably with the help of Son Heung-min.

Sarr said of Son Heung-min at the time "Sonny is a really nice and wonderful person. I try to understand even if I say something wrong in English. We've been good since the first day we met, and we're making a good win. He helps me a lot and doesn't spare any advice. I am grateful for that. I'm one of my favorite people on the team."

Panderpen also "What's important (to the captain) is to act like a captain not only inside the stadium but also outside the stadium. It's great on the pitch, it's straight. Son Heung-min knows what message he is delivering outside the stadium. He also has a reputation and experience. When Son Heung-min speaks up, the players begin to listen. He is a lovely player off the field, but he can change when he catches the ball."

Tottenham freshman Gray has already fallen for Son Heung-min. The captain's efforts are making Tottenham a tighter team.
