Will another 'Super Rookie' be born in the KLPGA (Korean Women's Professional Golf) Tour.

Kim Min-sol (18), the national team captain and ace, has declared his professional turn. Kim Min-sol said he returned the Taegeuk mark after turning 18 in June, and that he will turn professional from the 1st and begin his activities in earnest.

Kim Min-sol won the team title at the World Amateur Team Championship last year to become a full-time KLPGA member. Without going through a full member selection match, they can participate in the Dream Tour seed ranking match on August 19. It is drawing a roadmap to secure seed rights for the KLPGA Tour in the 2025 season after the Dream Tour.

Kim Min-sol, who started golf when she was in the fourth grade of elementary school, won the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Governor's Cup Junior Golf Championship for the first time in 2019. He won the 2022 Blue One-Bae Korean Junior Golf Championship and the Song Am-Bae Amateur Championship and was selected for the 2023 national team. At the Hangzhou Asian Games, he won the silver medal in the team event and won the team event at the Abu Dhabi World Amateur Team Championships. In April, he won the second place in the individual and team tournament at the Neighbors Trophy Team Championship.

Kim Min-sol, who is 1m78, is a smooth and accurate driver shot of 270 yards. Strong tenacity and sincerity are also considered strengths. This is the background that distinguished itself in the KLPGA Tour and the LPGA Tour as an amateur.

In the 2022 LPGA Tour BMW Ladies Championship, she ranked second in the first and second rounds and ranked 10th in the final, drawing great attention. Last year, all five KLPGA tours passed the cut. This year, he also ranked second in the KLPGA Tour Kyochon 1991 Ladies Open in May.

Last year's KLPGA Tour was highly competitive with Kim Min-byul and Hwang Yoo-min's room, which was called Super Rookie. Kim Min-byul beat Hwang Yoo-min and Bang Shin-sil to become the main characters of the once-in-a-lifetime Rookie of the Year award amid competition.

While these three players have been reborn as the main axis of the tour this season, Yoo Hyun-jo, a former national team player, is racing to the top of the rookie point category this season.

Expectations are growing whether Kim Min-sol, who has been prominent since his amateur days, will create a new wind in the KLPGA Tour with his professional turn.
