Deoksu High School won 11-1 and 8th over Seoul Dongsan High School in the first round of the 79th Cheongryonggi National High School Baseball Championship and the weekend league King Wangjung match (co-hosted by the Chosun Ilbo, Sports Chosun, and Korea Baseball Softball Association) at Mokdong Stadium in Seoul on the 7th.

Kim Tae-hyung, who started as a starter for Deoksu High School, is considered one of this year's rookie draft pitchers along with Jeon High School's Jung Woo-joo and Deoksu High School's Jung Hyun-woo.

The start was unfortunate. In the bottom of the first inning, Bae Seo-joon gave up the first run with an infield ground ball following a triple by Kim Joon-ho of Seoul Dongsan High School.

There were no more runs. Kim Tae-hyung, who regained his condition from the second inning, tied the Seoul Dongsan High School lineup tightly until the seventh inning, allowing only four hits without four pitches. He also struck out six.

Kim Tae-hyung threw 82 pitches while facing 24 batters in seven innings. The maximum speed of the fastball was 147 kilometers, and the average speed was maintained at 144 kilometers.

While starter Kim Tae-hyung was doing well, Deoksu's batting lineup also exploded.
