Kim Kyung-moon (66) and Yang Sang-moon (63), who are finally together as leaders.

After retiring as a player, we now keep our promise to be together as coaches when we become coaches, and we even live together for the time being. That coach Yang is staying at coach Kim's residence in Daejeon.

Coach Yang "Suddenly became a Hanwha coach, so I haven't found a house in Daejeon yet."I'm staying in the director's quarters for the time being."

The reporter said, "If you cook ramen, coach Yang will cook it."Coach Yang laughed when he jokingly said, `I'm not good at cooking ramen, but I'm good at washing dishes.'

During the All-Star break, former LG general manager Yang Sang-moon became the first-team pitching coach of the Hanwha Eagles. He returned to the scene after serving as a commentator for SPOTV until recently.

Manager Kim Kyung-moon, who took the helm of Hanwha during the season, initially decided not to change the coaching staff, but eventually felt that there was a need for coaches who agreed, and hired Yang Sang-moon, a former LG general manager who was a year younger than Dongsung Middle School and Korea University, as pitching coaches.

Coach Kim and Coach Yang, who played baseball together in Dongsung Middle School, were so special that they asked each other in letters when they were separated from Gonggo High School to Busan High School. Then, we met again at Korea University and were together on battery, and after living apart from the professional league, we played together for a while with the Pacific Dolphins in 1990. Coach Kim and coach Yang, who served as coaches on different teams again after retirement, promised that the first coach would recruit each other as coaches and play baseball together.

When Yang became Lotte Giants manager in 2004, he tried to recruit Kim, a senior coach, as the head coach, but the Doosan Bears appointed Kim as the new coach when Kim In-sik stepped down, and the two failed to play in another team.

Coach Kim later left a clear mark in the KBO League through Doosan and NC Dinos, and coach Yang continued his career as a leader after serving as LG manager, general manager, and Lotte manager again. In the 2016 playoffs, coach Kim competed in good faith as NC coach and coach Yang as LG coach.

And coach Kim and coach Yang, who were away from the site in 2024, met at Hanwha. Coach Yang said, `We have a lot of young pitchers on our team. I will try to raise it well for Hanwha and for Korean baseball with the coach."
