Busan held an inauguration ceremony at the clubhouse on the afternoon of the 16th with the team, coaching and support staff, and secretariat executives and staff gathered.
First, CEO Kim Byung-seok delivered a uniform and muffler to the newly appointed coach Cho Sung-hwan along with a congratulatory speech, and captain Lee Do-han congratulated him by presenting a bouquet of flowers.
Coach Cho Sung-hwan, who met with the team for the first time since taking office, emphasized the strong will to promote to the first division and the mental strength of the team through his inaugural address. First, as a manager, I mentioned four philosophies about team management. The four philosophies include 'One Team', which is accompanied by sacrifice, consideration, and respect, 'Basic' in all fields, 'Communication' to create energy that can be invested in pitch together, and a mindset of being more professional 'competitive' than K League 1 players.
He also emphasized the principles at the training ground and stadium. Based on the right posture and attitude, he called for the good implementation of these principles to produce good results on the field, such as concentration, adaptability, communication, and a culture of encouraging and cheering each other.
After the inauguration ceremony, coach Cho Sung-hwan immediately worked with the players on his first training schedule even in rainy weather.
Meanwhile, coach Cho Sung-hwan is scheduled to play his first game as Busan manager in an away game in the 23rd round of the K League 2 against Jeonnam on the 20th.
