The golden opportunity to escape from the last place flew in vain. K League 1 Daejeon Hana Citizen drew 1-1 with Gangwon FC as it failed to keep its winning spirit at home and allowed an equalizer in the second half.

Daejeon played a 23rd round home game against Gangwon at 7:30 p.m. on the 13th at Daejeon World Cup Stadium, its home stadium. Daejeon was desperate for victory to escape last place.
