Deoksu defeated Seoul Dongsan High School 11-1 in the first round of the 79th Cheongryonggi National High School Baseball Championship and the weekend league King Wangjung match (co-hosted by the Chosun Ilbo, Sports Chosun, and the Korea Baseball Softball Association) at Mokdong Stadium on the 7th.
Jeon's position is full of high school All-Star-level players. Earlier, he won the E-Mart Cup and the Golden Lion, showing off his even stronger presence this year. Of course, he is the No. 1 favorite in Cheongryonggi as well.
In the past, he won the Blue Dragon Flag for three consecutive years from 2012 to 2014, and has a deep relationship with the Blue Dragon Flag, with six wins in history, second only to Gyeongnam High School (9 times) and Gyeongbuk High School (8 times). However, he has not won in seven years, even though he has been considered a favorite every year since winning in 2016.
Along with Jung Woo-joo of Jeonju High School, it is a team that has both Jung Hyun-woo and Kim Tae-hyung, who are considered one of this year's rookie draft pitchers. Perhaps because of this memory, Deoksu High School started Kim Taek-hyung regardless of whether he was in the first round or not. In the batting line-up, Park Joon-soon, who is considered the biggest fish among fielders this year, as well as the main players such as third-year Woo Jung-an Bae Seung-soo, second-year Oh Si-hoo, and first-year Um Jun-sang, all started.

Still, Kim Tae-hyung regained his condition from the second inning, giving the team a sense of stability. After that, he tied the Seoul Dongsan High School lineup to four hits without four pitches until the seventh inning. Six strikeouts are a bonus.
Deoksu High School balanced Park Joon-soon's equalizer in the top of the third inning with Park Min-seok's double and Jung Min-seo's sacrifice bunt.

Here, Eom Jun-sang, the sixth batter of Deoksu High School, turned the game around with a three-run sweep double that fell to the third base line. It was a one-shot turnaround and the final hit of the day.
After Hong Tae-rang collapsed, Seoul Dongsan High School continued the mound with Kim Bum-joo, Ha Yoon-sung and Yoon Seo-hyun, but it did not stop Deoksu's explosive batting lineup any longer.
Deoksu High School widened the gap to 6-1 in the top of the sixth inning when Jung Min-seo, who had sacrificed both of the previous two at-bats after Park Min-seok walked to get on base, fired a superior wedge two-run shot.

Through the seventh inning, Kim had 82 pitches. Deoksu replaced the pitcher with Kim Young-bin in the bottom of the eighth inning to wrap up the game.
