KCC Auto, the official Mercedes-Benz dealer, appointed Yeom as an ambassador for public relations and also held a sponsorship vehicle delivery ceremony.
KCC Auto CEO Ryu In-jin "We are pleased to have Yeom Kyung-yeop, the Mercedes Benz promotional ambassador who won LG for the first time in 29 years, and decided to sponsor the Mercedes Benz EQS 450 vehicle for one year." he said.
Usually, most professional baseball managers often ride cars provided by clubs, so it is rare to become public relations ambassadors like Yeom.
Coach Yeom led the team to a combined victory in the regular league and Korean Series for the first time in 29 years since 1994 as LG manager last year, creating a 'LG craze'. He finished the first half of this season in second place and is aiming to win LG's first two consecutive years.
