Gary Neville made the remarks regarding concerns about the physical condition of England striker Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) ahead of the Euro 2024 semi-final between England and the Netherlands.
Kane scored the first goal during the 1-1 draw with Denmark and scored two goals, including an extended round-of-16 tie against Slovakia, but was criticized by fans for his poor performance throughout the tournament.
Neville speculated that English fans are not seeing their usual Harry Kane at Euro 2024, and that he seems to be playing with injections to manage his injuries in the Bundesliga at the end of last season.
However, Neville also made it clear that doubting Kane's start in the Euro 2024 semifinals against the Netherlands would be a `waste of time.'

"I wouldn't be surprised at all if I found out that Kane had been injected and played after this tournament was over.'"He can't move flexibly. It's not the usual Harry Kane" he gave his opinion. "We've seen the captain, the leader, the biggest person, the best player we expect is not in top form before. Wayne Rooney did in 2016 and David Beckham did in 2006. There are tensions and dilemmas between players who are obviously the best players, but whose performance is not comparable to that."
`Southgate would have had a situation where he would have used another player instead of Harry Kane, but Harry Kane will start in the semifinals against the Netherlands. England will not go to the stadium without Kane, he said, adding that he was confident of Kane's start.
