Zero field goals, but they're still in the quarterfinals. France's awkward advance to the quarterfinals in empty space

France won 1-0 in the round of 16 of Euro 2024 against Belgium in Dusseldorf, Germany, on the 1st. In the 40th minute of the second half, Belgium defender Jan Vertonghen's own goal won the game 1-0. Colomouani shot, but it was deflected off Vertonghen and recorded as an own goal.
France is suffering from terrible hardships. France scored two goals in three group matches. In the first match against Austria, Woeber scored his own goal in the 38th minute of the first half. France won by a score of 1-0. In the final group match against Poland, Mbappe scored on a penalty kick in the 11th minute of the second half. He scored two goals in two games, but had no field goals.
The same was true of the round of 16 against Belgium. France attempted 20 shots. However, there was only one effective shot. It was just a random shooting. Shooting accuracy was almost zero. And in the 40th minute of the second half, Kolomuan's shot was deflected off Vertonghen and sucked into the goal.
France's advance to the quarterfinals. It was the result of a great deal of luck.
