French director admits "Mbappe, affected by masks"

France won the Euro 2024 round of 16 against Belgium 1-0 in Dusseldorf, Germany, on the afternoon of the 1st (local time). He reached the quarterfinals thanks to Belgian defender Jan Vertonghen's own goal in the 40th minute of the second half.
Mbappe played full time but failed to score an offensive point. He was affected by the mask he wore after injuring his nose bone against Austria. French coach Didier Deschamps also acknowledged this.
Deschamps said after the game, "I'm getting used to Mbappe's wearing of a mask. It's getting better." However, the mask still affected Mbappe's performance. It felt like I was sprinting or obstructing my vision. Deschamps said, `When you get sweaty inside your mask, this affects Mbappe's eyes. And it also affects your vision. Mbappe said it looked like he was wearing 3D glasses. Then "Front view is fine, but lateral view is delayed due to interference. But he will get used to it even more.'
