'Hungary Tank' Martin Adam left his last goodbye to Ulsan HD fans.

Ulsan announced its breakup with Martin Adam on the 5th. Ulsan said on its SNS, "'Hungarian striker Martin Adam, who showed his natural goal-scoring ability and unforgettable theater goal by joining Ulsan in July 2022, is leaving Ulsan HD.' We thank Martin Adam, who has been with us, and wish Martin Adam's soccer life always full of happiness.'

Martin Adam made history in Ulsan. He played a big role in 2022 when Ulsan shook off its first K-League victory in 17 years. In particular, he scored two goals in the second half of extra time in his last meeting with Jeonbuk Hyundai, leading to a miraculous 2-1 come-from-behind victory. Martin Adam played in 14 games in his first season, scoring 9 goals-4 assists.

Last year, he also contributed to Ulsan's first two consecutive losses by scoring five goals and four assists in 30 games, and this season, he played in 10 games and scored three goals. Having played for Hungary in Euro 2024, he will leave Ulsan for the first time in two years.

Martin Adam posted a message on Ulsan's SNS, saying, "Dear Ulsan fans, I'm here to say my last goodbyes." It's hard to tell you what."

And "I experienced two beautiful years in Ulsan, and I felt very proud of those moments, winning the championship title twice. I'm leaving after this, but I have good players in Ulsan to replace me. During my time in Ulsan, I think I have completed the mission entrusted to me."

Martin Adam also said, `That's why Ulsan needed to change, and I felt that my family and I needed to change the environment and my career. I need a new wind. That's why I made this decision. It was a really hard time to decide", he explained.

He continued "I've always tried to contribute to the team as much as I can to the team in my place during the given time on the field, as the fans have always played and cheered for the team and me. I have no doubt that I will be able to win the championship for three consecutive years this season. I hope that good luck will come," he added.

Martin Adam last joined Suwon FC in the away match. Watching the game from the stands, he also said goodbye to the team and fans.

Director Hong Myung-bo said, "The contract was terminated by mutual agreement with Martin. The player wants to live in Europe, and there were also difficulties for his family. It is not easy to send a player under contract without a transfer fee. However, considering what he has done so far, I think he can release him as a free agent (FA). I'm sorry I couldn't be with you for a longer time, but I wish you all the best in the future."

Martin Adam's vacancy will be filled by Yago, who played for Gangwon FC. Ulsan will soon officially announce the recruitment of Yago.
