According to the Korea Swimming Federation, the artistic swimming team of Lee-young (Busan Swimming Federation) and Heo Yoon-seo (Sungkyunkwan University) left for Paris through Incheon International Airport on the morning of the 22nd under the guidance of coach Kim Hyo-mi and coach Oksana Pismenna (Ukraine). The national team, which has been working together since 2022, has qualified for the duet Olympics for the first time in 12 years after three World Swimming Championships and the Hangzhou Asian Games.
Of the 18 countries participating in the duet, only three Asian countries are China, Japan and Korea. Although the Western world is a strong event, the national team was confident of top 10.

Heo Yoon-seo said, `Now that it's my departure day, the excitement and tension have disappeared, and I'm calmed down.' `I'll pour out everything I've prepared with gratitude to my family and artistic swimming teachers who always support me" expressed a bold determination.
After arriving in the country on the 22nd, the artistic swimming team will move to Fontainebleau pre-camp, adapt there, and enter the athletes' village on August 3, a week before the competition. The artistic swimming duet match will be held at 2:30 a.m. Korean time on the 10th and at 2:30 a.m. on the 11th.
