Doosan Bears overcame a slump and ended the first half with two consecutive wins.

Doosan won 6-3 against the Lotte Giants at Jamsil Stadium on the 4th with starter Kwak Bin's six scoreless innings and Yang Eui-ji and Yang Suk-hwan's two consecutive home runs.

It was the day I said goodbye to Raul Alcantara, who spent two MVP seasons with Doosan. Alcantara greeted calmly after receiving the news of the replacement shortly after going to Jamsil Stadium at around 2 p.m. that day. Kwak Bin was on his way to work, so he couldn't say hello.

It was a day where everyone suffered from intermittent downpours. The game was suspended twice, but fortunately it was not long. The heavy rain poured down coolly after the game.

Still, Doosan showed outstanding pitching in the bullpen, which led to starters Kwak Bin, Lee Young-ha, Park Chi-guk, and Lee Byung-hun. When the bullpen shook in the top of the ninth inning, Kim Taek-yeon was quickly put in and finished without allowing a turnaround.

Lotte finished the first half with two consecutive wins, leaving behind the whistle of five consecutive wins. It fell back to eighth place, and was 0.5 games apart from Hanwha in ninth place.

Doosan scored the first point by operating a two-run shot in the bottom of the fourth inning against Wilkerson, who Yang Eui-ji had pitched scoreless. It was followed by Yang Seok-hwan's solo shot, which marked 20 home runs for four consecutive seasons. However, it was regrettable that there were no additional points except for one run won by a walk with no outs and bases loaded. Lotte starter Wilkerson completed five innings.

Doosan led 6-0 by adding one run each in the sixth and eighth innings, but Kim Yu-sung was shaken in the ninth inning and faced a bases-loaded crisis without a hit with a not-out foil, a mistake, and a walk. Following Lotte's Yoon Dong-hee's timely hit, Reyes' missed hit led to a two-run timely hit. Still, Kim Taek-yeon locked the back door.

After the game, coach Lee Seung-yeop said, `It's a meaningful day to finish the first half with consecutive wins. All of the team went through a lot in the first half of the year," he congratulated himself.

Then "Starting pitcher Kwak Bin finished the first half of the season with another six scoreless innings." He proved his growth by finishing the inning unshakable even in a crisis situation"Joyed.

In addition, Yang Eui-ji and Yang Seok-hwan played the role of troubleshooter for two consecutive days. Yang Eui-ji's first two-run shot in a tight situation allowed him to take the lead. Yang Seok-hwan's home run followed, bringing the atmosphere. I would like to congratulate Yang Seok-hwan, who made a record of 20 home runs for four consecutive seasons while using the large Jamsil Stadium as his home" and did not hide his joy.

19,372 Doosan-Lotte fans gathered at the site to cheer. Manager Lee Seung-yeop said, `I would like to thank the fans for their enthusiastic support from the stands on the first base even in inclement weather. We will reorganize our team during the All-Star break and show better performance in the second half."
