KBO announced that Lotte Wilkerson and Kiwoom Kim Hye-sung were selected as the June winners of the 'Shellheelix Player', which will be presented together with Korea Shell Petroleum Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Korea Shell'. 'Shellheelix Player' is selected based on WAR (contributions to victory over replacement players).
In June, Lotte Wilkerson ranked first with a WAR of 1.45. Wilkerson has achieved nine quality starts in 10 games he started in May and June, and in particular, he won his first shutout of the season against KIA on the 4th.
While playing 36 2/3 innings, the most innings in June, WHIP, the on-base allowance per inning, also recorded 1.04, the fourth-lowest. Wilkerson said "The catcher led well, and the batters showed good batting and helped a lot. I will do my best to contribute to the team in the second half of the year" shared his acceptance speech for the Shell Healics Player selection.
Kiwoom Kim Hye-sung took over the Shell Hills player in the batter category. It's already the second pick of the season since being selected as a Shell Healics player in March-April. Kim Hye-sung has shown unrivaled performance in June, ranking first in batting average (0.452), first in on-base percentage (0.529), first in OPS (1.219), and tied for second in most hits (38).

The award ceremony for the players selected for the 'Shellheelix Player' in June will be held in July at their club's home stadium, and the selected players will be given a prize of 1 million won through the sponsorship of Korea Shell.
Korea Shell will continue to support the Shell Heelix Player Awards every month.
