LG Twins' shutout pitcher Casey Kelly continued his good pitching and finished his last pitching in the first half with a quality start.

Kelly started in an away game against the Kiwoom Heroes at Gocheok Sky Dome on the 2nd and allowed seven hits, one walk, four strikeouts, and one run in six innings. The number of pitches is 96.

Kelly, who recorded his 10th quality start of the season, played 102 ⅔ innings, becoming the 42nd pitcher to surpass 100 innings for six consecutive years.

He is the third foreign pitcher in history after Daniel Rios (6 seasons from 2002-2007) and Henry Sosa (7 seasons from 2012-2018). Kelly is the first foreign pitcher to set this record on a team.

Kelly, who pitched perfectly until the 8th inning of the previous game against the Samsung Lions in Jamsil on June 25, had one hit and no four outs until the 9th inning, and was in his prime.
