Shirakawa Keisho (23), who became a member of the "Bear Corps", had his first official greeting with the team.

After signing a formal contract with Doosan on the 10th, the Doosan Bears Shirakawa joined the team at Suwon KT Wiz Park, ahead of the game against KT Wiz on the 11th.

On this day, he conducted light training such as catch. It is scheduled to be selected against the Samsung Lions in Jamsil on the 13th.

Shirakawa came ready to throw with all his might for the team at the meeting. I ask for guidance and help," he said hello.

Yang Seok-hwan, the captain of Doosan, also said "The team will also try to get to know each other quickly." Let's do well together."

Prior to the meeting, he also had a meeting with Doosan manager Lee Seung-yeop. The interview was conducted with an interpreter, not Japanese free-talking. "Let's do our best to have a good relationship for both the team and the individual," coach Lee Seung-yeop said.

Shirakawa, born in 2001, played for the Tokushima Indigo Sox in the independent league after failing the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) rookie draft after graduating from high school. In May, he signed an alternative foreign player contract with SSG Landers for six weeks and a total of 1.8 million yen (about 15 million won) on behalf of Adonis Elias.

At that time, SSG had no NPB experience, but analyzed that it had strong fastballs, large curves for dropouts, and sharp forkballs of 150km, which was proven by its appearance in professional baseball. Shirakawa played his part with 2 wins, 2 losses and a 5.09 ERA in 5 games and 23 innings in SSG.

Doosan, where Brandon Waddell was injured, sent a love call, and Shirakawa signed a second KBO league contract with Doosan for six weeks and a total of 4 million yen (about 34 million won). The annual salary, which has more than doubled from the SSG days, is noticeable.
