Darts from all over the world gather in Songdo, Incheon.
The K-DARTS FESTIVAL will be held at Convensia Hall 3 to 4 at Songdo Convention Center in Incheon for two days from the 20th to the 21st. Hosted by the Korea Darts Association, this competition is organized by Finix Darts Co., Ltd., and sponsored by Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Tourism Organization.
The World Darts Championship is an international electronic darts festival held in Korea every July and is the world's largest darts festival. Starting with the Korea-Japan match against the Japanese national team in 2007, it continued to an international competition involving Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, and in 2012 it developed into the world's largest international competition involving 10 countries from Asia, Europe and the Americas. Last year, more than 3,000 people from 14 countries, including Korea, participated.
A total of 2,500 participants, including 350 athletes from 15 countries around the world, as well as Korean hobbyists, will participate in the competition. Individual, doubles, and team events will be held in zero won and cricket, with a total prize money of 100 million won. Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon will deliver a video congratulatory speech at the main event at 11 a.m. on the 21st.
As a side event, a celebratory performance by popular dance groups Holy Bang and Deathpot Crew was held, and various events and a rich prize lottery were also held.
