"Unfamiliar bunker depth, green speed, and course condition are all excited."

This is how Seo Dong-jae (17), who recently participated in the Srikson Brave Championship in Gunsan CC, felt.

The preliminary round of the Srikson Brave Championship, held at the Gunsan CC tournament course for two days from the 15th to the 16th, is the only amateur tournament in Korea that applies the environment and rules of the KPGA (Korea Professional Golf Association) tournament. Not only tee shots at fast green speed and full back tee, but also Mulligan and Consid are not allowed. The difficult course environment also makes amateur feel the wall of profession.

Seo, the youngest participant, finished first in the preliminary round with a final total of 75. As a professional candidate, he said, "It was a valuable experience to experience the tour environment with good competitors on the stage of KPGA professionals that I've only seen on TV"In particular, the unfamiliar bunker depth and fast green speed course condition were factors that made me excited, and I think it will be a good experience to continue playing golf without hesitating to challenge myself in the future."

The Thrikson Brave Championship will have the final round in September with a total prize money of 30 million won. The company will also provide Thrikson Club and golf equipment to the top holders.
