Lee Won-ho and Oh Ye-jin lost to India 10-16 in the 10-meter air pistol mixed bronze medal match at the Paris Olympics at Chatoru Shooting Range in France on the 30th (Korea time). In the first set, Lee Won-ho and Oh Ye-jin scored 10.4 points and 10.1 points, respectively, to get two points ahead of India (18.8 points), but were dragged down by dropping two to five sets. He narrowed the gap by winning points in the sixth and eighth sets, respectively, but the gap widened again after being pushed back by India in the 9th and 10th sets. South Korea seemed to save the spark of hope by winning 11-12 sets, but eventually ended the game in fourth place by giving up 13 sets.
On the 27th, the first day of the Paris Olympics, Park Ha-joon and Geum Ji-hyun reported their first medal for the Korean team with silver medals in the 10-meter air rifle mixed. On the 28th, Oh Ye-jin and Kim Ye-ji combined for a gold medal and a silver medal in the women's 10m air pistol, respectively, and Ban Hyo-jin also won the gold medal, earning two silver medals.
