'Goodbye, Um Ji-sung' Gwangju FC fans say goodbye, and a new challenge in Swansea City

Um Ji-sung recently confirmed his move to Swansea City in the English professional football championship (second division). Gwangju held a farewell party for Um Ji-sung in the lobby of Gwangju Metropolitan City Hall on the 5th. More than 220 people attended the event, including 200 Gwangju FC fans selected through a lottery, owner Kang Ki-jung, CEO Noh Dong-il, and head coach Lee Jung-hyo.
Um Ji-sung was able to come to this place thanks to the fans' support. Please continue to support us. I will also cheer for Gwangju hard from abroad. I'll come back to Gwangju someday and repay the fans' love."
Mayor Kang Ki-jung said, `I hope you will perform well without getting hurt. Thank you so much to the fans who came here. Please give us more support so that we don't feel any empty seats."
CEO Noh Dong-il also expressed his wish for success without injury. I ask for your generous support," he said in good words.
Manager Lee Jung-hyo thanked the owner and CEO for allowing Um Ji-sung to transfer. I watched Swansea City's game in person, and I was relieved that it seemed to be going to a team with good thumbs. Um Ji Sung will now be supported by the Korean people. The fans said, "I hope you can support Gwangju even more."
Meanwhile, Um Ji-sung expressed his gratitude by giving his fans his cherished items such as autographed uniforms and soccer boots through a lottery.
