Kiwoom won 4-1 at home against the LG Twins at Gocheok Sky Dome on the 3rd with Heyesus' six scoreless innings and the power of the top batting line. Kiwoom, which won six consecutive games, maintained an overwhelming advantage of 7 wins and 3 losses against LG. He has won five consecutive home games.
LG won four consecutive games in Gocheok alone. All three losses to Heyesus. Just one run in 19 innings. Nightmares about Kiwoom and Heysus followed.
Kiwoom consisted of Lee Joo-hyung (right wing), Ronnie Dawson (designated hitter), Kim Hye-sung (second baseman), Song Sung-moon (third baseman), Choi Joo-hwan (first baseman), Lee Yong-kyu (left wing), Kim Jae-hyun (possession), Kim Tae-jin (striker), and Jang Jae-young (midfielder). As in the previous day, seven left-handed hitters were selected as starters. The only difference was that Lee Yong-kyu was included in the sixth batter instead of Bae Sang-kwon. It was unusual to use seven left-handed batters even though the opponent's starter was Detrick Ens. The lineup considering the data that Ens was not significantly affected by left and right hitters with a hit rate of 272 (64 hits in 235 at-bats) and a hit rate of 268 (34 hits in 127 at-bats) to left-handed hitters.
LG's starting lineup consists of Hong Chang-ki (right wing), Shin Min-jae (second baseman), Kim Hyun-soo (left wing), Austin (first baseman), Park Dong-won (possession), Moon Bo-kyung (third baseman), Kim Sung-jin (designated hitter), Koo Bon-hyuk (striker), and Park Hae-min (middle fielder). Kim Beom-seok and Ham Chang-gun went down to the second division, while Song Chan-eui and Kim Sung-jin were called up to the first division. Kim Sung-jin, who ranks first in home runs in the Northern League with nine home runs and second in overall home runs, immediately started as the seventh-designated hitter.

Kiwoom also scored two more runs in the bottom of the third inning with Lee Ju-hyung's left-field double and hits by Kim Hye-sung and Song Sung-moon to make it 4-0. With Heysus on the mound, who is pitching LG extremely hard, four points seemed to be a huge difference.
LG continued to beat the leadoff hitter as he got on base with no outs in the top of the fourth inning and no outs in the top of the fifth and sixth innings, but failed to draw a score from Heyesus in the end.
Heyesus put LG's batters to bed again with four hits, two walks and eight strikeouts in six innings. In three games this year, he allowed only one run with 19 strikeouts in 19 innings. The ERA is zero because it is also a non-visit policy. With this victory, he reached the top of his 10th win (four losses) of the season. He became the only 10-win pitcher in the first half of the year and ranked first with multiple wins. He also lowered his ERA to 3.14, ranking third after KIA James Nail (2.66) and NC Kyle Hart (2.94). With 102 strikeouts, he is also ranked third after Hart (104) and Nails (103).

LG's seal was lifted when Heyesus went down and Joo Seung-woo came up in the top of the seventh inning. Moon Bo-kyung hit a double to the left-center, and pinch hitter Moon Sung-joo finally scored the much-awaited first point with a left-handed hit. Koo Bon-hyuk's surprise bunt exquisitely goes between the pitcher, the first baseman, and the second baseman and hits the infield. When Park Hae-min's fly to center field, second baseman Moon Sung-joo ran to third base, leading to a chance of one out and runners on first and third bases.
However, Hong Chang-ki's line drive hit against left-handed Kim Sung-min flew straight to the shortstop and was out, cooling the heated atmosphere. Shin Min-jae struck out the rookie and the chase was cut off.
Kim Sung-min also took the mound in the top of the eighth inning and caught Kim Hyun-soo, Austin, and Park Dong-won one after another to win the hold by keeping the first ⅔ scoreless, and Cho Sang-woo finished the top of the ninth inning scoreless, recording his second consecutive save.
Lee Joo-hyung scored two hits and two runs, Dawson scored one hit and one run, Kim Hye-sung scored one hit and two RBIs, and Song Sung-moon scored two hits and two RBIs, making the first to fourth hitters collaborate for four runs.
LG had many chances, but it eventually became a game that was dragged away as no shot came out.
