The game was suspended due to heavy rain with Jeon High School leading 6-1 in the bottom of the third inning with one out, while Jeon High School's Jung Woo-joo showed a brilliant fireball.
Both high school and Masan Yongma High School are playing the 79th Blue Dragon Open National High School Baseball Championship and the weekend league King Jung-wang (co-hosted by the Chosun Ilbo, Sports Chosun, and Korea Baseball Softball Association) at Mokdong Stadium in Seoul on the 16th, dreaming of winning the Blue Dragon Open for the first time.
Jeonju High School is a historic baseball team founded in 1925, and Masan Yongma High School was founded in 1936. However, Jeon High School won the national championship only once in 1985 (Golden Lion), and Masan Yongmago has never won the national championship. In both schools, Cheongryonggi is the first championship challenge since its foundation.
On this day, a cheering squad of 600 to 700 students, including students, visited the site. Even the LG Twins cheerleading team was invited to the large-scale cheering squad dressed up in red jeongo uniforms and brandishing flags. Rumor has it that the alumni association actively participated under its own analysis that it was behind the cheering match against Deoksu when E-Mart Bae was runner-up in 2024.

Yongma High School was also not behind in its momentum, with more than 400 student cheering squads gathering on the stand above the third base dugout and cheering for waves. The cheering teams of both teams exchanged heated cheering matches, including singing school songs from the game.
Heavy rain was predicted even before the game. However, large cheering teams from both teams visited the site, and rainy seasons are scheduled one after another on Wednesday and Thursday.
It was Yongmago who gained the upper hand. Lee Si-hoo, the starting pitcher of Jeon High School, is a tall pitcher who throws fastballs of around 140 kilometers even though he is a freshman. However, as if he was nervous about the finals on a big stage, he allowed three consecutive walks to give up the first run.

Jeon high school immediately posted ace Jung Woo-ju. Jung Woo-joo finished the inning with consecutive strikeouts, and even Choi Min-sang, the first batter, was struck out in the bottom of the second inning before falling into right field.
However, Jeon High School put Jung Woo-ju back on the mound when the next pitcher Park Si-hyun allowed a triple to right-center after one out. Jung Woo-joo gave up a walk, but Kwon Hee-jae was grounded out and turned off the light again.
Jeon high school gained momentum by winning three points in the top of the second inning and three points again in the top of the third inning. Leading hitter Seo Young-joon got on base with a hit, and tied an infield hit to the opponent's wild pitch to become the first and third base with no outs. Then, when Kim Yu-bin grounded out to third base, the home ball hit the runner and fell out, making it tied 1-1.

Yoon Do-yeon's squeeze bunt led to an infield hit in the second and third bases with no outs, followed by the second and third bases with no outs again. Park Han-yeol's sacrifice fly gave him a 3-1 lead.
In the top of the third inning, Jeonju's batting line exploded. Leading hitter Lee Han-rim's walk and Seo Young-joon, Sung Min-soo, and Jung Seok-joo's timely hit followed, quickly making it 6-1.
Jung Woo-joo struck out the first batter in the bottom of the third inning to continue the game, but the game was suspended due to heavy rain. It's raining too much, so I'm spending a lot of time on ground maintenance. It is not easy to resume the game.

Jung Woo-joo's ball power is impressive, as he puts in a fastball of around 150km even with a comfortable pitching form. So far, Masan Yongmago has rarely made a good hit to Jung Woo-joo's ball.
If the game is delayed due to heavy rain, the timing is also key. Masan Yongmago cannot use Lee Seo-yul, who has emerged as a surprise star of the tournament, even if it is delayed by a day. On the other hand, Lee Ho-min, who supports Jung Woo-joo, can take the mound in Jeon High School. However, if the game is pushed forward as it is and the game is suspended after Jung Woo-joo passes 45 pitches, Jung Woo-joo cannot play the next day.
