Daejeon Hana, led by head coach Hwang Sun-hong, recruited Choi Geon-ju (25, Busan), who will add speed from the side.

An official from the transfer market said on the 4th that `Daejeon Hana has completed all procedures for recruiting Choi Geon-ju. I understand that only the announcement is left."

Choi Kun-joo is the sixth player recruited by Daejeon Hana this summer. Earlier, he reinforced various positions by recruiting national fullback Kim Moon-hwan, former Olympic striker Chun Sung-hoon, striker Park Jung-in, midfielder Martha, and multiplayer Kim Min-woo.

Choi Geon-ju is a fast-paced winger and striker. Along with Kim In-gyun, it is considered a resource that will make a difference in attack with fast speed from the side.

Choi made his professional debut in Ansan in 2020 and moved to Busan in 2023. He has played in the K League 2 stage all the time, scoring 15 goals and 6 assists in 129 games. He played in 18 games (one goal) this season, mostly as a striker. He stepped up to the K League 1 stage for the first time in four years of joining the team.

Meanwhile, Busan brought Lee Joon-ho on loan from Jeonbuk as a striker to replace Choi's vacancy. Busan coach Park Jin-seop formed a relationship with Lee Jun-ho, a 1-meter-88-tall striker born in 2002 when he was the head coach of Jeonbuk B team. Busan, which needs to reinforce its striker, and Lee Joon-ho, who needs a chance to play, matched their needs.
